Maximizing performance in pulp and paper plants
Over the decades, we have engineered reliable mechanical seals to meet the diverse needs of chemical and thermo-mechanical pulp (TMP) production. TMP processing yields up to 97% fibrous material from original wood chips, so the efficiency of energy-demanding processes, like refiners, must remain operational. In other plants, wood chips are chemically pulped to remove lignin and generate stronger pulp fibers.
